Good cooks come from all walks of life, and varied backgrounds. For Cooper Booth, cooking is all he's ever known. The Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, native started working in restaurants when he was 14 and never looked back. "The only job I have ever had has been in the restaurant industry," he says. A newcomer to Food Fight, Cooper has worked all over the country since graduating at the top of his class from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas. No matter where he's worked, his passion has remained constant: "Creating an experience for guests that they will remember and enjoy." Make no mistake, the restaurant experience is something Cooper enjoys and will remember for the rest of his life. His favorite part? "The personalities and cultures that you encounter on a daily basis," he says. When he's not slaving over a hot stove-and loving every minute of it-Cooper can be found outside: usually hiking or otherwise spending time with his daughter Addison and his wife Vicki.
